Jim Butts, the artist who designed this year’s limited edition Millikin Vespers ornament, is a major in Computer Science at Millikin University.  Butts is on the high deans list with an honors scholarship from Millikin University.  Although he is not an art major he has had the opportunity to take some design courses as well as create much publicity for student organizations.  Butts has developed many of his creative design techniques in his spare time.  He is further developing his skills in web site mock ups, web design and layout, graphic optimization, flash programming, database design and development, web maintenance, and more at Jones and Thomas, the largest marketing communications agency in downstate Illinois.
